Google Assistant is a virtual helper by Google, that allows you to get stuff done faster. Instead of performing tasks manually by tapping your finger on the screen several times, you can get the job done by using voice commands.
Google Assistant is smart and very well integrated with Android. You can use it to open apps, send messages, make calls, play songs, check the weather, and many other things without touching the screen of your phone.
To use Google Assistant on your Android smartphone, you first have to turn it on. And for that you just need to follow the following simple steps:-
Step 1: Launch the Google app.
Step 2: Tap the “More” option in the bottom-right corner.
Step 3: Go to Settings.
Step 4: Go to Voice option.
Step 5: Now click on “Voice Match” .
Step 6: Tap the “Hey Google” icon to on.
Step 7: Tap “Next”.
Step 8: After reading the instructions, tap “I Agree”.
Step 9: Say “OK Google” or “Hey Google”, according to the instructions displayed on the screen.
Step 10: Click “Next”.
Step 11: Then click “Finish”. And you will be done with your settings.
Step 12: Now go to your mobile Homescreen. And long-press the “Centre icon” or “Home icon”.
Step 13: A screen will appear like this.
Step 14: Now you will see some suggested commands and you can give any command like phone call, play music,set an alarm,etc.
Step 15: Now let’s see an example by asking google to make a phone call. For that you just need to say “OK Google! Make a phone call”.
Step 16: Now Google will ask you to whom you want to call ,so, just say the Contact name of the person whom you want to call.
