How to remotely wipe your device using your Google account

THE MAIN CAUSE:

 WHY  WE USE THIS:

If your phone, tablet, or laptop is lost or stolen, follow these steps to help secure your device. If you can’t get the device back, taking a few steps right away can help protect your information. You can try some remote actions, like ringing, locking, or signing out on your device. 

Step 1:

Open a browser, like Chrome. If you’re using someone else’s device. Open your Google account in private mode.                            

Step 2: 

Go to the Security section in the “Security” section, find “Your devices.” 

 

Step 3:

 Scroll down then select the Find lost phone, tablet, or Chromebook. You’ll see the last time the device was used, and the last city it was in.

Step 4: 

When you click on the find a lost device you will get a list of devices that you are logged in and click on the device which data you want to wipe.

Step 5:

Now you need to sign in with your Google account and then you will get to a new site there click on the locate option available there.

Step 6:

When you select locate then you will be redirected to Find my device web site and there you can see your location and few options as below.

Step 7: 

when you click on the ERASE DEVICE you will be redirected to GOOGLE account sign-in page to verify whether it is you or not and when you click on next everything will be cleared.–>Walkthrough video if you don’t understand<–
